Modern user interface

In order to simplify the work of the operator, we have introduced an intuitive navigation system in WideQuick BMS HMI. As some installations can be complex and comprise multiple underlying systems, everything from hot tap water to solar cells, it is important that operators have a modern user interface that helps then intuitively find the right information. Using the navigation wheel in WideQuick BMS HMI, operators can quickly access the required information in the system, all with just a couple of clicks.
Intuitive navigation
The navigation wheel in WideQuick BMS HMI can be configured by users and adapted for the property in question. It is possible to choose icons and system names according to different needs and requirements and then save the settings. Icons, together with a logical structure, makes it easy for the operator to quickly and intuitively navigate to the required part of the system.
Dynamic operation images
Via a modern user interface, built around dynamic objects and vector-based graphics, all system users have access to operational information (static and dynamic) and historical measurement values, time channels, transfer curves, and other information about the property. By using intelligent pop-up windows connected to constituent objects, a consistent and intuitive appearance is achieved, making it easy for the operator to access object details, change values, and operate the system.
Simple operation with intelligent pop-up windows
Out of the box, WideQuick BMS features a wide range of pop-up windows. All pop-up windows are object-oriented work views, which means that their content is adapted dynamically according to the selected object, e.g. a sensor or a fan. WideQuick Runtime produces the pop-up window depending on the variables defined for the object and the access rights of the operator. For the system integrator, this means that development time is minimised, and for the operator it means that they can get access to relevant information at their access rights level with one simple click. Simply put it is an intuitive way of presenting the right information to the right user.
Configuring using WideQuick Designer
In order to configure a WideQuick BMS system, the system integrator uses WideQuick Designer. WideQuick Designer is a powerful development tool that, together with WideQuick BMS and the three basic projects and associated object library, shorten project times compared to other equivalent systems.
