WideQuick BMS SCADA - Superior monitoring
WideQuick BMS SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is used to create a superior monitoring system that gives good control and overview of the entire property portfolio. The system contains several intelligent functions that help the operator ensure optimal operation of properties. The map function gives the operator the opportunity to quickly navigate to the required property, and the common alarm list tells the operator if a problem has arisen in any of the properties. The dashboard enables each user to create a unique user interface featuring the required information.
A flexible superior monitoring system
System integrators can adapt the system architecture according to the wishes of the property owner and the nature of the project in question. WideQuick BMS SCADA can communicate with local WideQuick BMS HMI systems that are installed on an operator unit in each property, or communicate directly with the property's PLC system. If communication takes place directly with the PLC, monitoring of the property must be configured directly in the SCADA system as an embedded BMS system.Intelligent functions for effective monitoring
WideQuick BMS SCADA contains an intelligent object library, scripts, and ready-to-use work views that enable system integrators to quickly configure the superior monitoring system. WideQuick BMS SCADA can be run as a service on, for example, a WideQuick Box with a Premium license or another computer. In WideQuick BMS SCADA, you can create views with information from all properties, and operators always have access to intelligent functions for effective superior monitoring.
Information is available when it is needed
The information in the SCADA system can be accessed from connected WideQuick Remote clients or from a web browser via WideQuick Web Client. In addition, service engineers that are by a locally sited operator panel can quickly connect to the SCADA system via the operator panel and gain access to SCADA functionality and the information in other operator panels in the system.
Advantages of a locally sited operator unit
Although WideQuick BMS SCADA does not require locally sited operators, there are several advantages to building up the system using local operator panels or boxes. This makes the system autonomous, as local monitoring of the property works even when there is no working internet connection. If the property is sold, the local system can be left in place and transferred, along with the property, to the new owner. Via the local operator panel, a service engineer on site can connect to the SCADA system and gain access to information about all properties in the system.Easy to connect multiple properties to WideQuick BMS SCADA
Connecting existing properties that already use the WideQuick BMS concept in a local operator panel or box is a quick process. Existing properties can be integrated in WideQuick BMS SCADA in 5 minutes. This is done in three simple steps: 1) Add the local system’s IP address to the SCADA system, 2) Add a SQL database connection 3) Set out map pins.Once the new property has been added, the operator will have access to the SCADA system and can easily navigate to a component, such as a valve, and control it just as if he/she was in the property and using the local BMS system. The information from the connected property is now also available in the common functions in the SCADA system.
