Easy to navigate to the desired property

There are several ways for operators to navigate to a particular property in WideQuick BMS SCADA, regardless of whether the information about the property is configured in an operator unit, locally sited in a property, or is configured centrally in the BMS SCADA system. Each user can create a unique user interface using the dashboard function and, via the tree view menu and map function, can quickly obtain information about the selected property.

Dashboards
Information panels that are quickly adapted to each user by means of a variety of widgets. This gives users fast access to the information they want as each user has their own dashboard set up. Up to 10 dashboards can be accessed without having to log into the system. There are a number of different layouts available to choose from, and WideQuick BMS SCADA comes with four ”drag & drop” widgets that can be placed on the required dashboard desktop. If these widgets do not offer the requisite functionality, users can easily create their own, e.g. a widget that links to the web interface of an air conditioning unit or a custom measurement collection workview. This custom widget must be “packeted” in the widget object in the object library, subsequently appearing in Runtime with “drag and drop” functionality, just as is the case with the built-in widgets. Each user can create up to 10 login-protected dashboard views.
Tree view menu
No matter where you are in WideQuick BMS SCADA, a dynamic tree view menu is located to the left of the selected work view, ready to be dropped down for quick navigation to a sub-system. At launch, the tree view menu is populated with the WideQuick BMS systems that are in the system, both embedded systems and connected remote systems in local operator panels. All systems that are on-line are marked with a green symbol. If a remote system is off-line, this symbol changes colour to red. The tree view has a structure in which properties are located in sub-nodes by region and town/city. When a property in the tree view is expanded, a menu is shown that contains the names of all work views in the system. Double-clicking the name of the work view, establishes a direct link to the selected work view in the system. Double-clicking the name of the property establishes a link to the property's start page. In the SCADA system, the work view display may be moved to a second screen or placed where appropriate.
Navigation map
If you prefer graphical navigation, there is a map object for just that. Pins representing the facilities in your portfolio are placed out on the WideQuick Designer map. Then in Runtime, the user can easily zoom, pan, and click their way to the required property and double-click it to link to its start page via WideQuick Remote Client.
