Effective alarm management

WideQuick BMS features an efficient system for detecting faults and non-conformances for the systems that are monitored in the property. Alarms can be displayed in alarm lists, alarm logs, and alarm frequency lists. Alarms can be shown in the bottom edge of the screen and also sent by e-mail or SMS. From the alarm list, the user can go to history stored at the time the alarm occurred, to an operation image where the system automatically zooms into the object issuing the alarm, or choose to go to an action list.

Alarm information via e-mail and SMS
Alarm information can be sent to selected recipients by e-mail or SMS. Using the graphical e-mail schedule, the user can easily set up schedule for days and times a particular group shall receive alarm information via e-mail. It is also possible to apply a stricter filter in respect of who alarms are sent to according to the level of severity.
Zoom to object issuing alarm
No matter how simple the navigation system is, an alarm issued in a facility may require immediate action. Larger installations, such as hospitals, can contain thousands of sensors, and operators may find it difficult to locate an object that is issuing an alarm in the system hierarchy. This function takes the user straight to the operating image of the object that is issuing the alarm and zooms into the object  - all with one click!
ÅAction lists and instructions
In the event of an alarm, it is important that the user can quickly obtain information via, for example, an action list concerning which tasks are to be carried out in different alarm situations. By clicking an action column in the alarm list, the user can go straight to an action list that contains information about what action must be taken. At the same time, the alarm list can show which actions have been taken.
