WideQuick BMS has been developed to give facility managers, system integrators and operations managers considerable freedom to choose how the system is structured and used. Thanks to the system’s flexibility and scalability, it can be used for monitoring of everything from individual facilities to an entire portfolio of facilities.


WideQuick BMS can be used in local HMI panels, such as those located in the facilities’ technical or maintenance centres. Monitoring can also be carried out centrally by installing WideQuick BMS in a container on the central server, ideally one container for each facility. The central server also contains a higher-level BMS acting as a SCADA system, which is also housed in a container. When the facility is monitored centrally, the locally installed HMI panels can also be connected to the supervising WideQuick BMS SCADA.

WideQuick BMS features a modern, modular design, developed to effectively harness all the benefits of a container-based system architecture. By installing and using WideQuick BMS in containers, optimal monitoring of the facilities is achieved with maximum flexibility, functionality, performance, scalability and operational reliability. Maintenance of the system is centralised, making it significantly easier to implement changes to the configuration and update the software.

A major advantage is that the system can be built using both centrally located WideQuick BMS units, installed in containers, whilst certain facilities have local HMI panels equipped with WideQuick BMS, all connected to a centrally located WideQuick BMS SCADA system. When a new facility is to be added to the system, it is easy to expand the system with a WideQuick BMS in a new container. In summary, the container-based design offers a smart, cost-effective and reliable facility with simpler commissioning and maintenance.
