WideQuick Modular Framework (MOD)

WideQuick Modular Framework is a general HMI/SCADA concept and framework consisting of a collection of solutions and modules suitable for most HMI/SCADA/PSIM applications, regardless of industry. This concept aims to streamline and reduce time-to-market and provide system integrators with ready-made functionality to use in their applications.

Modules

 WideQuick Modular Framework consists of several modules gathered in a unified concept application. These modules, such as menu management, maintenance, a smart object library and scripts, facilitate the development of WideQuick applications. The modules will be available as separate solutions for WideQuick HMI/SCADA/PSIM version 14.0 and later, but are already offered as a packaged solution within WideQuick Modular Framework starting with WideQuick 13.4.

Extensive symbol and object libraries

 The introduction of the framework includes several symbol and object libraries, along with associated script libraries. The symbol libraries contain over three hundred unique P&ID symbols based on ISO and ISA standards. These symbols are preconfigured to display colours and provide operators with information about the status of the object represented by the symbol. The accompanying object libraries include components such as buttons and value displays. The value displays can be connected to objects in the work view to visualise values directly in process images. These displays come with built-in functionality for handling units and decimals. WideQuick Modular Framework makes it easy for users to add or remove modules as needed to tailor the application for specific purposes. The flexible and modular structure also simplifies the updating of specific parts of the application in the future..
