Ethiris VMS increases security
in Skara and Vara

Assemblin El AB in Lidköping has worked on several projects to build up security in Skara municipality. In connection with this, the municipality has installed Kentima’s powerful video surveillance system, Ethiris VMS/NVR/NVC.

Assemblin El AB is an installation & service company, focusing on green technology and smart buildings where the Lidköping office has been a partner of Kentima for almost 10 years. With sharpened expertise in the security area, they are now one of Sweden’s largest security installers with experts in all areas of security, such as passage and fire alarm systems, intruder crime alarms and camera surveillance, they work regularly together with Skara Municipality to build up the security with the help of technical installations.

The municipality of Skara is prepared to deal with various societal disruptions and extraordinary events and therefore cooperates with other authorities to increase security in the municipality. Together with its loyal supplier, Assemblin, the surveillance system Ethiris Video Management Software (VMS) can be installed in several municipal properties in the municipalities. Ethiris VMS is used both for new installations and when old objects are replaced. The aim is to increase the perceived security and reduce crime in Skara and Vara municipalities. For example, there is video analysis for detection in the evenings in the station house and up to 200 cameras in Skara municipality controlled by Ethiris VMS. Other buildings include schools, travel centres and other municipal properties. The entire camera system, which consists of multiple servers, can be administered and configured both locally and centrally via the powerful configuration tool Ethiris Admin. In addition to Skara municipality, the servers also include Vara municipality with its many facilities and about 100 cameras.

Together with Kentima, Assemblin has devel-oped its own hardware design for both servers and clients. They feel that the products from Kentima are stable, modern and reliable.

With the software Ethiris VMS and hardware Ethiris NVR and NVC, the two municipalities have a reliable, secure and efficient surveillance system for increased security and crime prevention.

Ethiris Video Management Software provides the user with a powerful and advanced surveillance system that is easy to use. Its unique features, together with the built-in flexibility, allow the installer to quickly configure the system according to customer requirements. There are great opportunities to integrate Ethiris with other systems and build a total security platform.
