Launch of WideQuick BMS 2026.1

WideQuick HMI/SCADA/PSIM We have launched a new version of our popular concept within building automation. With the WideQuick Building Management System (BMS), we offer the market the most complete system for monitoring properties and entire property portfolio.

We have invested significant resources in developing a system that gives property owners full control over their facilities portfolio. The new concept has been designed to meet the growing demands for optimised operations, efficient maintenance, energy efficiency and sustainability, as well as enhanced security and user-friendliness.

WideQuick BMS is based on Kentima’s established WideQuick HMI/SCADA software and WideQuick Modular Framework (MOD), combining advanced SCADA technology with modern building management features. The concept provides system integrators with a powerful tool for rapid project development, whilst offering facility managers a modern and user-friendly solution with high operational reliability. Kentima’s open architecture makes it possible to integrate both new and existing systems, creating significant opportunities for both new builds and the modernisation of older facilities.

The aim has been to develop a modern BMS concept that optimises and simplifies the operation of facilities and makes every step more efficient and effective, from configuring an application, integrating with I/O, PLCs and other systems, commissioning, day-to-day operations, maintenance planning, alarm management, analysis and reporting, to being able to navigate and use the system with ease. WideQuick BMS is designed to work just as well for a local HMI located in a single facility as it does for a central SCADA system performing monitoring of large facilities portfolios.

A facility contains a vast array of installed components and systems, ranging from various detectors, heating systems, ventilation units and lighting to solar panels and charging points. There are many complex systems that must work together seamlessly around the clock. By using WideQuick BMS, we weave these systems together into an intelligent whole. It is not a matter of adding yet another system, but of gathering data and uniting the various parts of the facility into a single point that provides all users of the system, regardless of time and place, with the information and overview their work requires.

Work is also simplified by ready-made, powerful objects and solutions, automatically generated pop-ups, easy duplication of work views, manufacturer-independent integration via open standards, and smart diagnostics that simplify commissioning.



- Centralised and powerful container-based monitoring

WideQuick BMS features a modern and modular design, developed to effectively harness all the benefits of a container-based system architecture using a subscription-based licensing model. By installing and using WideQuick BMS in containers, optimal monitoring of facilities is achieved with maximum flexibility, functionality, performance, scalability and reliability. A major advantage is that the system can be built using both centrally located WideQuick BMS units, installed in containers, whilst certain facilities have locally installed HMI panels with WideQuick BMS, all interconnected to a centrally located WideQuick BMS SCADA.



- A solid foundation for the future
WideQuick BMS 2026.1 is a concept and a core application based on our solutions framework, WideQuick Modular Framework (MOD), and our WideQuick HMI/SCADA/PSIM software. WideQuick MOD is the same framework used as the basis for other HMI/SCADA concepts, intended for other WideQuick verticals, such as Water & Wastewater, Industry & Machinery, and Security. In addition to the functionality included in the WideQuick Modular Framework, WideQuick BMS 2026.1 has its own specialised modules for building automation.
