Ethiris VMS simplifies the work in the Alarm central

By using Ethiris Video Management Software in the alarm central, the alarm operator’s work has become substantially easier. Each alarm generated from an Ethiris system premises is displayed in the alarm central receiving software with a clickable link.

The operator who clicks the link is automatically connected to the premise and recorded video from the alarm occasion from associated cameras is displayed in the local Ethiris Client of the operator. Hence the operator can directly determine the seriousness of the alarm and take appropriate action.

In the Ethiris Client you can create buttons connected to one or several speakers for quick access. The operator pushes the button and speaks into the microphone for sending the audio directly to the speakers via the local Ethiris Server at the premise. The speakers can be IP speakers connected directly to Ethiris Server via the local network, but it can also be speakers connected to a certain camera.

The alarm operator can follow live what happens on premise via the cameras and help guards in real time on site. If desired, the operator can display both live and recorded video simultaneously to be able to keep an eye on the activity in front of the cameras. Evidence is an important part of the work after a possible crime.

Everyone with a connected Ethiris Client, the alarm operator as well as the end customer, can easily export video, with or without audio, for sending evidence to the police or other authority. All alarms at the premise are logged in the event list and double-clicking an event automatically loads the Player with cameras associated to the alarm and the time is set to the time of the alarm. Hence the operator instantly gets hold of relevant video without having to spend time searching the recorded video manually. Included in the export is a stand-alone Viewer that can run on a Windows computer without having to be installed. From the Viewer you can export to AVI if desired.
