Ethiris secures the quality of the central parts of manufacturing processes

By using a customized Ethiris NVR-2 from Kentima and utilize unique functions in Ethiris VMS, IoTRON, with their long experience of industrial applications, has succeeded in creating a winning concept for industrial process control.

IoTRON conducts value-added sales of function-oriented systems for security and process control, cyber security and industrial IoT. Their solutions are preferably joined with application customized software to further in-crease the measurability and the usefulness in the systems they deliver. Naturally their total offering also contains several interesting services tailormade for its target audience, industrial and other business-near applications on the Nordic market.

IoTRON has launched IoTrack AutoLog which is used for automatic storing of visual data from camera images and synchronizing these with information in the form of process values from one or several underlying production systems such as machines and panels. IoTrack AutoLog is based on Ethiris NVR-2 from Kentima with Ethiris VMS pre-installed and licensed for the number of cameras required by the current application.

An Ethiris function for automatic video export of video from the manufacturing process to be documented, based on signals directly from the process, is included in the product. IoTrack AutoLog is a standard product, ready-to-use, but with great possibilities for customization to each individual project. With built-in support for general communication protocols, such as OPC, the product targets a very wide audience. The robust design of Ethiris NVR-2 with video storage disks configured in RAID-1 for redundancy provides a very reliable system perfectly suited for demanding industrial applications.

The system provides the possibility for manufacturing industries to always be able to go back to, with a combination of images and process data, investigate, troubleshoot, and verify the quality in their produced units, and if necessary, take corrective action.

Ethiris VMS (Video Management System) is software for professional video surveillance and is used within a large number of areas. With customizable functions and the component-based design makes it possible for the integrator to optimize the functionality for the current application. Ethiris VMS consists of several different components which can be combined to achieve maximum flexibility, functionality, and performance in a system. The java-based script engine provides a completely unique flexibility and opens endless possibilities for customizing each system.
