A Clean Procedure With Industrial Computer OE619 From Kentima

Processing AB is the leading supplier in the Nordic region for public swim and spa facilities, but they also provide products for energy and water optimization (EVO). With the help of Kentima´s industrial computer OE619, Angered Arena can control, not only the pools, but also the system that surveilles the chemical- and energy consumption.

The industrial computer, which is developed by Kentima, is developed for heavy industrial usage. It is often used in combination with Kentima´s in-house developed HMI/SCADA software WideQuick, but is also well suited to work with other brands of HMI/SCADA software. In the new arena in Angered, the industrial computer OE619 from Kentima with i5 processor is being used together with the system ICON from Processing.

ICON is installed on the industrial computer and is used to control the pools and their peripheral. Angered Arena comprises five separate water purification systems for their different pools. If any values should deviate from normal values, the operator will receive an alarm that indicates the problem.

All industrial computers in the OE600 series are PC based, which makes it possible to use several different operating systems and software to run and control any connected peripherals. The goal as the building was constructed, was that the technical system and industrial computers should, based on the formation and the requirements of the facility, be adjusted given low energy use and at the same time the demand for a good indoor climate should be fullfilled.

With low power consumption the industrial computer from Kentima suits the set requirements. OE619 is a cost-effective investment and is characterized by having few moving parts. This makes the industrial computer reliable in operation with a long service life.

The front is washdown safe  and dustproof to IP65, which means that the industrial computer is very durable when it comes to tough treatment in rough environments. At the Angered Arena the industrial computer is mounted on the wall in a separate room. It has a bright touch screen with multi-touch, which is easy to use when it comes to handle for example alarms.

Kentima´s industrial computers are available in four different series and the touch screens come in various sizes to fit every customer´s unique requirements.
