Ethiris VMS - when you do not want unexpected visitors

For over 100 years, ISIFLO has manufactured and delivered brass products from the factory in Gnosjö, in the middle of Småland. Elajo El & Energiteknik has installed a security solution where Ethiris VMS (Video Management Software) is directly connected to an alarm central, so that ISIFLO can conduct their business without having to worry about unwanted guests.

ISIFLO in Gnosjö has 50 employees that work in construction, marketing, and manufacturing of casted, lathed, and mounted brass products. The process involves casted material and brass rods.

Their camera solution was outdated, and they turned to Henrik Carlsson at Elajo El & Energiteknik, that has worked with various security solutions for the company for many years. Henrik is well familiar with the needs of ISIFLO and by his long experience in Kentima and their products, the choice was easy and Kentima’s Ethiris VMS with direct connection to Safe4 alarm center was selected.

Camera alarms directly connected to an alarm central are required to get a secure and cost-efficient surveillance. ISIFLO wants to feel confident, in the premise being sufficiently monitored even though no personnel are on site, and by using Ethiris VMS as the new camera solution, they can rely on their daily handled valuables are well protected.

Since Ethiris VMS is connected to the access control system on site, Ethiris can automatically activate the cameras when the personnel have left the premise. Hence, unnecessary false alarms are avoided at the same time as the surveillance time is maximized.

They have cooperated with ISIFLO for a long time and has been trusted to implement their physical protection such as burglary alarm, access control system, camera surveillance and process supervision.

The demand for connected alarms has increased the last couple of years since the result of direct measures has had a positive effect. Together with advanced video analysis, Kentima’s video surveillance system Ethiris VMS reacts immediately on intrusion and sends alarms to the alarm central.

With Ethiris VMS from Kentima, the work of the alarm operators has dramatically decreased. Each alarm generated from an Ethiris system is displayed with a clickable link in the alarm central’s alarm receiving software.

Ethiris VMS has a large and wide application area and is today used within several areas. It is an open platform with great focus on scalability, high functionality, easy integration, and user-friendliness.
