Modern Styrteknik AB was recommended by colleagues within their line of business, to use Kentima’s HMI/SCADA Software WideQuick. When Modern Styrteknik got the assignment to deliver control- and surveillance equipment to the real estate Kvarteret Planen 4 in Solna, they chose an operator panel from Kentima, WideQuick HMI Panel 15.6” with Full HD resolution.

Modern Styrteknik AB is located in Stockholm and delivers automation solutions independently of manufacture brands. The projects  comprice everything from investigation, consultation, planning, construction, programming to commissioning and installation of complete systems. By using quality products from known manufacturers of control systems, they create energy saving system solutions for their customers.

The Kvarteret Planen 4, a real estate in Solna, Stockholm was rebuilt as nursing home, apartments and stores. Modern Styrteknik got the assignment to install a control- and surveillance system, for among other things, ventilation units, heat control center, cooling machine and heat pump.

Kentima’s robust and reliable operator panel, WideQuick HMI Panel, was selected for the task. The operator panel contains our software
WideQuick, which is component based, scalable and modern software that provides the user with a surveillance system with a modern user interface.  WideQuick communicates and exchanges information with different systems, in this case via Modbus to SAIA PLC.

All operator panels from Kentima are delivered with WideQuick Designer, which quickly and easily gives the user possibility to create desired user interface. A WideQuick OPC Server is always included, in order for the operator to easily connect the panel to a superior system.

Through smart functions and an object library where objects and pop ups quickly are adjusted to the specific facility, the configuration is simplified and the time for the project is tremendously shortened.  The end-customer has received a system with amazing functionality and graphics, user friendly solutions to facilitate the work for operators and other personnel.  Modern Styrteknik also emphasis performance, design and quality as important factors when selecting an operator panel.

The project with the real estate Kvarteret Planen 4, was finished at the end of 2015. Modern Styrteknik has previously used Kentima’s industrial computers in the form of Panel PC, as a client to other external systems.
