News in Ethiris Mobile 5.90

Kentima has released a new version of Ethiris Mobile for iOS, that since before is released for Android. Ethiris Mobile is an app that connects to one or several Ethiris Server for viewing of live and recorded video.

The new version contains several new useful features. You can create desired views for the mobile in advance using Ethiris Admin, support for I/O buttons, support for simultaneous connection to multiple Ethiris Server and support for enhanced encryption between mobile and Ethiris Server.

Ethiris Mobile 5.90 is available on Google Play and App Store.

 

Configuration of views in Ethiris Admin  
With Ethiris 8.2 or later you can define desired views for Ethiris Mobile in advance by using Ethiris Admin. 




 
Any number of views based on the 11 different templates can be defined. Just as before, you can select new cameras for the various views directly in your mobile. The difference now is that you can create ready-to-use views in advance by using Ethiris Admin, meaning that the mobile user doesn’t have to.

When the user connects to a server, she can choose from all the available mobile configurations.

 I/O Buttons
Another exciting news is the possibility to define I/O buttons for the mobile. With these you can control various functions at your site such as directing a PTZ camera to a preset position, start recording for multiple cameras simultaneously or switch on/off lighting.

 
 

Multiple Ethiris Server
From version 5.90 of Ethiris Mobile you can simultaneously connect to several Ethiris Server and thus in an easy way view cameras from several sites in the mobile.

Note! Ethiris Mobile today only supports stand-alone servers, i.e. not Ethiris Cluster.
 

Enhanced encryption 
In version 9.0 of Ethiris the encryption between various parts of an Ethiris system is enhanced. Ethiris Mobile 5.90 is already prepared to handle this higher level of encryption.

OTHER NEWS 
Examples of other new features in Ethiris Mobile are an enhanced authorization system where you can control who will be able to see the various cameras in the system. 

Increased support for tablets, which have larger screens compared to mobiles and you can choose to show the navigation tabs in landscape mode.

The app can now remember your credentials for each server.

New Android AND IOS operating system 
Ethiris Mobile 5.90 has support for the latest operating system for Android, 8.0. This means that Ethiris Mobile supports Android 4.1.2 or later.
Ethiris Mobile 5.90 has support for the latest operating system for iOS, 11.1.1. This means that Ethiris Mobile supports iOS 8.1 or later.


NEW Ethiris Server 
Ethiris Mobile 5.90 has support for the latest version of Ethiris, version 9.0. It means that the new Ethiris Mobile supports Ethiris 5.6 or later. Playback of recorded video requires Ethiris 5.10 or later.
