Bathing facilities are filled with WideQuick HMI Panel and OE Industrial Computers

Automations Teknik in Lidköping, AtLid, has commissioned over 15 bathhouse facilities with Kentima’s products. With the WideQuick HMI Panel and OE Industrial Computers, large parts of the water purification process are controlled, and selected parts are visible to the staff at the bathhouse.

Automations Teknik i Lidköping AB, AtLid, was started in 2013 and consists of about 20 employees. AtLid is built on the fascination and interest in how automation of industrial processes can strengthen customers’ production and manufacturing. Today it is a company that with width, depth and expert knowledge in a number of different areas and industries in automation. They give Swedish industry the opportunity to use AI, manufacturing technologies and process industrial IT in a new way.

Enwa Water Technology in Sweden is a complete supplier of bathing facilities for public use, all carefully selected to suit the high-quality standards that exist in the industry.

Enwa Control is a development concept that began in 2017 when AtLid was commissioned by Enwa to develop a new control system for their water treatment for public bathhouses. Since then, more than 15 facilities have been put into operation, where Kentima’s products are a central point in the system.

”Kentima and WideQuick gives us the opportunity to develop our SCADA environments just the way we want them”, says Fredrik Lööf, Division Manager Bath, Enwa Water Technology AB.

AtLid and Enwa are currently working on two large projects where Linköping Municipality and Kristianstad Municipality are end customers. These will be two of the largest municipal bathhouses in Sweden and they will be ready in the autumn of 2022.

At each facility, there are Kentima’s HMI panels, H621, which handle most of the time channels, partly for SMS alarm handling, start times for various activities such as whirlpools, weighing machines, play landscapes and scheduling for backwashing.

”Kentima’s HMI panels are pre-installed with WideQuick, which is super flexible as we only need to enter our projects to get started”, says Albin Larsson-Pierre, Project Leader, AtLid.

There is also an EcoDrift function that controls the water quality and when it is within specified limits, flows and UV light are controlled so that the pumps do not run with full speed at night and when there is a low load, this is done to save energy. The system controls the entirety of the water purification process such as temperature, chlorine and pH content, UV light, flow and backwashing of filters.

An OE316 panel is also used as a remote ”bath attendant panel” to make certain selected parts are visible to the staff at the bathhouse. They have also installed WideQuick Remote on Surface boards so that the operating technicians who manage the facility will have a mobile work platform. Enwa has a support computer with a runtime license that enables you to open a Remote Client in an easy way at the facilities that need support.

”WideQuick is a highly effective soft-ware. It is easy to via CSV files import tags and alarm lists which saves us a lot of time”, ads Albin.

Thanks to the high quality, the clear sharpness of the screens and WideQuick’s openness in the development program, AtLid can develop the functions that are demanded by customers. The software is also stable and easy to work with, and there is also the opportunity for close collaboration because the product is developed in Sweden. These are a few of the benefits that AtLid is happy to highlight.
