Ethiris VMS video wall security

Ethiris VMS In version 17.0, we have developed incredibly powerful features for video walls. The concept comprises several components, such as video wall objects managed by Ethiris Server for the automatic control of video wall content, video wall clients that drive the monitors on the video wall, and operator clients that can be used for manual control of the video wall.

The video player is a key component when investigating incidents using recorded footage. We have now optimised playback so that the operator can search at up to 192 times normal speed to quickly locate relevant footage within a large volume of material.

Intelligent video analytics is playing an increasingly important role in modern video surveillance. The new version of Ethiris VMS can receive so-called ONVIF metadata from cameras with advanced video analytics, regardless of the structure of the analytics data. This means that the vast majority of cameras with video analytics can be used in conjunction with Ethiris VMS.

A camera list in a tree view with drag-and-drop provides the operator with a powerful tool for locating and selecting cameras for live views, video players and video walls. As camera groups within camera groups of any desired depth are now supported, it makes sense to present the camera list as a tree view that reflects the organisation of cameras into different camera groups. This makes it easy to find the desired camera in the tree view, even in large facilities with a large number of cameras.

Ethiris VMS 17.0 includes these and several other exciting new features that we believe all Ethiris users will appreciate.
