Ethiris VMS 14.0 – Now launched internationally

Ethiris VMS Three big news stands out in version 14.0. It's the Ethiris SDK, Script Library, and Optimization for really large systems. Ethiris VMS is often used in larger complex installations where there are requirements for high functionality, performance, security and flexibility, as well as good integration possibilities with other systems. With the new version, we strengthen our position in the market by making Ethiris VMS an optimal choice for this type of facility.

Interaction between different security systems is becoming increasingly important. The purpose of the Ethiris SDK is to facilitate a deep integration from other systems towards Ethiris VMS. The Ethiris SDK provides access to virtually all the features of Ethiris VMS and a user of our SDK can build the desired video functionality into their own system.

Ethiris scripts are an incredibly powerful feature that can be used to customize a system in ways that are not possible with traditional video surveillance systems. With Script Libraries, you can extend the script functionality of Ethiris VMS in a simple way, and structure your script so that it is easy to read and maintain. Kentima provides ready-to-use script libraries, but users can also create their own script libraries for efficient distribution and reuse of scripts within their organization.

Ethiris VMS is increasingly used in really large facilities with systems spanning many servers, sometimes across multiple locations. For us at Kentima, it is very important that Ethiris VMS is easy to use and has sufficient performance to provide a pleasant user experience. Therefore, in this version we have focused on being able to manage really large systems in both Ethiris Admin and Ethiris Client without having to divide the configuration into several smaller parts. After a thorough work, to optimize the software, our extensive tests have shown that a large configuration, consisting of 150 Ethiris Server and a total of 4,500 cameras, works really well in both Ethiris Admin and Ethiris Client.
